🌟 We hope everyone had a fantastic first two days!🌟

Thank you so much for your cooperation, patience, and support yesterday and today as we worked together to get everything in place for the start of the new school year. We truly appreciate your understanding as we navigated our first days together. 💛

It was wonderful seeing our students back, ready to learn, grow, and make new memories. 📚✨

A special THANK YOU to all of our families and students who came to school wearing their school uniforms! The students looked absolutely wonderful, neat, and ready for school!

📌 Friendly Uniform Reminder:
Moving forward, we will be enforcing our school uniform policy consistently. We kindly ask all families to make sure students come to school in the appropriate school uniform each day. Thank you for helping us maintain this important school expectation.

Please make sure you are at the correct dismissal location when picking up your child. Your cooperation helps us keep dismissal safe, organized, and efficient. 💛

We are looking forward to an amazing, successful, and exciting school year filled with learning, growth, and wonderful experiences for our students. 🏫💫

Exciting News for Our Middle Schoolers!

We are thrilled to announce a brand new afterschool program for our 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club! This is a fantastic opportunity for our middle schoolers to engage in enriching activities, develop new skills, and connect with their peers in a supportive environment.

To help us tailor the program to your child’s interests, please take a moment to fill out our interest form below. Your input is crucial in shaping the exciting activities we’ll offer!

We also want to introduce our new Afterschool Director Adia! She will be on-site at P.S./I.S. 268 every Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, now until August 5th. This is a perfect chance to meet her, ask any questions you might have about the program, and get help signing up your middle schooler for the upcoming school year. Please also refer to the flyers above.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope this message finds you well as we prepare for the upcoming school year! We’re writing to provide an important update regarding our school uniform policy.

For our K-5 students, we want to confirm that the uniform will remain the same: baby blue tops and navy blue pants. This familiar look will continue for our youngest learners.

We are excited to announce a change for our middle school students in grades 6-8. Starting this coming school year, the uniform for middle schoolers will be grey tops and navy blue pants. We believe this updated look will help foster a distinct identity for our middle school community.

Please be advised that our school uniform policy will be strictly enforced for all grades this upcoming school year. We are implementing a three-strike system to ensure compliance:

Strike One: A verbal warning and a reminder of the uniform policy will be given to the student.
Strike Two: Parents/guardians will be contacted directly to discuss the uniform infraction.
Strike Three: Parents/guardians will be required to come in for a meeting with school administration. Further consequences may be implemented at this stage.

We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that all students adhere to the uniform policy. This helps us maintain a positive and focused learning environment for everyone. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school. Please use the above flyers for reference. Thank you.
