The Mary Louis Academy is now accepting applications for Fall 2027 entry in Grades 6–11.

Whether you’re beginning your TMLA journey in our Middle School, applying to Grade 9, or considering a transfer into Grades 10 or 11, now is the time to get started.

📘 Incoming Grade 9: Swipe for this year’s admissions timeline, including important dates for TACHS Prep, Open House, scholarship consideration and priority decisions. Use the QR codes on the next slide to apply, register and learn more.

👋 Want to experience TMLA for yourself? Grade 8 students can spend a school day on campus through our Buddy Day program.

📅 December 15: Grade 9 applicants who wish to be considered for TMLA merit/academic scholarships should submit their TMLA application by this date. No separate merit scholarship application is required. The separate CSJ Scholar Service Award application is also due December 15.

✨ Grades 6–8 and Grades 10–11: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with admissions decisions released bi-weekly.

Please note: TACHS is not required for admission to TMLA. Grade 9 applicants may submit either TACHS or Grade 7 New York State ELA and Math assessment results; TMLA accepts both equally.

Give your 7th or 8th grader the preparation and confidence to do their best on the TACHS exam this fall.

The Mary Louis Academy’s 𝗰𝗼-𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗦 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 is open to both boys and girls and led by an experienced TMLA educator. Students will strengthen skills in math, reading, language, and reasoning while learning effective test-taking strategies and gaining experience with practice tests.

🎯 Bonus session: October 31

At The Mary Louis Academy, an all-girls education means more than learning alongside other young women. It means growing in a community designed to help every student find her voice, recognize her strengths, and become confident in who she is and who she wants to be.

☀️ Hilltop Summer is well underway!

Our campus has been buzzing with activity as students build skills, explore new interests, and prepare for a successful school year through our Hilltop Summer programs. Featured here are highlights from our annual ELA & Math Skills Course for incoming Grade 9 students, where future Hilltoppers strengthened their reading, writing, and math foundations before the first day of school. 📚✨

A special thank you to Mrs. Grace West and Dr. Patrice Woehling for leading this year's courses and helping our newest students start high school with confidence.

The summer isn't over yet! We still have Regents Prep Courses, TACHS Prep, and our Summer Athletics Clinics coming up, giving students even more opportunities to sharpen their academic and athletic skills before the school year begins.

🎉 Congratulations to TMLA Class of 2029 student Lilian Roman!

We are proud to celebrate Lilian on being selected as a recipient of the Cathedral Club of Brooklyn Scholarship, a prestigious award presented to outstanding students from Catholic high schools throughout the Diocese of Brooklyn. As part of this honor, Lilian was awarded a $21,000 scholarship to support her education at The Mary Louis Academy over the next three years.

Congratulations, Lilian, on this well-deserved achievement! We can't wait to see all you'll accomplish as a Hilltopper. 👏

We're shining a spotlight on TMLA student Julia McCarthy, who was recently featured in QNS as one of several Queens teens helping celebrate the excitement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup through a global youth festival.

We're always proud to see our Hilltoppers representing our school and our borough with leadership, enthusiasm, and community spirit.
