🥋Today we honor a major part of our Kenpo lineage, Professor Nick Cerio, who passed away on October 7, 1998.

Professor Cerio was more than a martial artist. He was a teacher, mentor, innovator, and leader whose knowledge and dedication helped shape generations of martial artists.

His knowledge continues to live on through every instructor and student who carries his teachings forward. At USA Karate, we’re proud to do our part to preserve that lineage and pass it on to the next generation.

Today, we remember Professor Cerio with respect, gratitude, and pride. 🥋❤️

USA Karate and Sullivan's American Kenpo Announce Historic Promotion to Hanshi /Grandmaster

USA Karate and Sullivan's American Kenpo are proud to announce a historic milestone for our organization.

We are honored to announce the promotion of Robin Sullivan to Judan, 10th Degree Black Belt.

This ultimate rank recognizes a lifetime of dedication. A former World Champion and the driving force behind our tournaments for many years, she has been instrumental in building USA Karate from a single school into a family of schools throughout New England.

Together with our Senior Grand Master, Hanshi Larry Sullivan, she has built and led this organization, guiding thousands of students and shaping generations of instructors and school owners.

Please be advised that Hanshi Larry Sullivan remains our Senior Grand Master. As Hanshi Robin will now serve alongside him, with equal authority to govern curriculum, oversee promotions, and lead Sullivan's American Kenpo into the future.

With this advancement and with Shihan Melissa Warner serving as Soke Dai, the future leadership of our system is secure.

Please join all of our schools in congratulating Hanshi Robin Sullivan on this incredibly well-deserved honor, and in thanking Senior Grand Master Hanshi Larry Sullivan for his continued leadership.

🎉Happy Birthday to our Grand Master, Hanshi Larry Sullivan 🥋🖤

Today we celebrate more than a birthday. We celebrate a life devoted to the art, to discipline, and to us.
Thank you for your hard work, behind the scenes that no one sees and on the mat! Your endless dedication to every student, every black belt, and every future generation. Most of all, thank you for passing on the lineage.
Because of you, USA Karate isn’t just a dojo — it’s a family, a tradition, and a way of life.
Every bow, every lesson, every correction comes from the foundation you built. We are who we are because you believed in us! We walk in your footsteps on the mat because you showed us the way.

From all of us at USA Karate, Thank You! We honor you today and every day.
Happy Birthday, Hanshi
