💙💛 WELCOME TO THE RAMILY! 💛💙

We’re excited to welcome Jehzaria Middleton to the Albany State University Women’s Cross Country & Track & Field program! From Jacksonville, Florida to Albany, Georgia, the next chapter begins now 🐏🔵🟡

Why Did Jehzaria Choose ASU?: I chose ASU because from the beginning it felt like home. The coaches believed in me, the team made me feel welcomed, and I knew it was a place where I could grow not only as a track athlete but also as a person and a student. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to represent ASU.

Raines Now Has CTE Master Academies! 🎉🎓

Last night, Duval County Public Schools recognized two William M. Raines Senior High School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Academies for earning Master Accreditation Status for the first time!

Congratulations to the Culinary Arts Academy, led by Devette McCain, and the Information Technology Academy, led by Donna Brovich-Kennison, on this outstanding achievement!

Both academies share a strong commitment to innovation, continuous growth, and student achievement. Their dedication to providing students with meaningful, industry relevant experiences continues to help prepare our Vikings for success beyond the classroom.

Raines is proud to be one of 14 CTE Academies last night to earn a Master Accreditation Status out of the district’s 63 CTE Academies. These programs give students opportunities to explore their interests, develop valuable technical skills, and prepare for future careers and postsecondary success.

Both recognized academies met the rigorous expectations established through the accreditation framework and were affirmed by JAXUSA Partnership. Through industry informed reviews, stakeholder interviews, and expert feedback, JAXUSA helps ensure that each academy provides authentic, workforce aligned experiences that prepare students for the opportunities ahead.

Congratulations to our Culinary Arts and Information Technology Viking Academies! Your excellence, innovation, and commitment to success make us proud!
