Axson’s Annual “Peace Out” Parade was truly a walk down memory lane. Our graduating 12th graders and rising 5th grade graduates proudly paraded through the halls of Axson one last time before stepping into their next chapter. The hallways were filled with cheers, smiles, hugs, and so many familiar faces that have helped shape their journeys along the way.
Moments like these remind me why Axson is such a special place. We are more than a school — we are a family connected by memories, traditions, and the lasting impact we make on one another’s lives. Watching former students return and current students prepare to soar was both heartwarming and inspiring. Once an Axson student, always a part of the Axson family.

The students at Axson officially cashed in their Read-A-Thon reward. The chance to prank the principal by soaking me with water — and they did not hold back!
Between the buckets, super soakers, and endless laughter, it was a moment our students (and probably everyone watching) will never forget. While I may have left completely drenched, my heart was full seeing our students so excited about reading and working together toward a goal.
If getting soaked is the price for promoting a love of reading at Axson, I’d say it was worth every sq**rt!

Our teachers work so hard—they truly deserve the world. And listen… if I ever find a magic wand or win the lottery, I’m making ALL their dreams come true! 💫

This week, we wanted to do something a little extra special, so I teamed up with some amazing parents to transform our staff eating space into a gas station so they could refill their tanks before summer. Because our teachers deserve to feel celebrated, appreciated, and loved every single day!
