The staff at J. Allen Axson Montessori Elementary is committed to providing a safe, caring environment with diversified instruction that promotes success for all students. We provide an internationally recognized Montessori educational program for children from the age of three through the fifth grade. Each teacher is specially trained in the Montessori method in order to assist children in their

development. In addition to achieving broad intellectual standards, the students of J. Allen Axson Montessori School are invited to pursue their own intellectual interests in-depth. The special Montessori materials in each classroom allow children to work independently. Self-motivation and responsible independence are the cornerstones of the Montessori method. Children in each classroom are of diverse ages to promote interest and caring among all students. The entire J. Allen Axson Montessori staff incorporates the principles of the Montessori method to develop all of the children’s talents.

Check it out! Cub Scouts will be at our school on Thursday, August 27th at 6pm in the Cafeteria. This is open to all boys and girls grades K-5. They will tell all about the program and you'll be able to sign up! What an AMAZING first day at J. Allen Axson Montessori!

Our theme this year is This School R.O.C.K.S.— Responsible, Outstanding Community and Kids Shining — and today proved that this is more than a slogan… it’s who we are!

Today was the kickoff to what is going to be our best year yet, and the best part? Our incredible paraprofessionals were right there beside us every step of the way. Together, we’re not just a staff—we’re one big band, ready to make beautiful music for our students!
