Sometimes forgiving isn't a clear-cut endeavor.. it feels like letting go will somehow save the person or situation from consequence, or make it "okay". Forgiveness isn't a bandaid to plaster over the offense, or the pain, or the regret... But rather, a conscious choice to no longer allow it to have power over YOU. FEEL the anger, Recognize the validity of your feelings, LOVE on yourself as you heal, PROCESS the situation... Then make steps to learn to let it go. Hanging on doesn't serve us forever. Let it serve it's purpose, but don't let it make you bitter... Let it make you better and stronger. You're a bad ass. Keep rockin it. ❤️
