Velvet Eidson - Vocal Coach

Once Upon a Mattress, and she was Miss Ed White 1980. She studied voice at Jacksonville University before moving to Nashville to pursue a career as a professional singer. Velvet won the title of Miss Nashville, and went on to tour and record as a member of the vocal group "Dave and Sugar". She has moved back to Jacksonville since then, where she continues to sing at Westside Baptist Church. She has recently written and recorded music for the faith-based film Broken Faith. Velvet has been formally teaching voice since 2012. She currently lives in Jacksonville with her husband, Chris, and her two daughters, Victoria and Angelina. Her passion is to teach others how to be better singers and to communicate to their audiences both vocally and visually.
