At The Etiquette Studio, our classes are designed to help young women grow in confidence, communication, and self-respect.

Through guided discussions, hands-on activities, and real conversations, students learn how to carry themselves with presence and navigate everyday situations with confidence.

Ways You Can Uplift a Girl or Woman Who May Be Struggling with Confidence

Confidence can grow when people feel seen, encouraged, and supported.
Here are a few simple ways you can help:

1. Compliment her sincerely, past her looks.
A genuine compliment about her strengths, character, or effort can remind her of the value she may not always see in herself.

2. Encourage her voice.
Ask her what she thinks and create space for her opinions. When people feel heard, their confidence grows.

3. Support her individuality.
Encourage her to explore her own interests and passions, even if they’re different from everyone else’s.

4. Speak life into her.
Positive words can have a powerful impact. Sometimes the right encouragement at the right moment can help someone see themselves differently.

Confidence grows in environments where people uplift one another. A few kind words or simple encouragement can go further than you think.

One of my favorite things is watching people open up, speak confidently, and support each other during these classes.

That’s what The Etiquette Studio is all about.

Our Etiquette Foundations for Girls 8-17 program helps students build this same confidence, communication skills, and social awareness.

Black History Fact from The Etiquette Studio! Debutante & cotillion balls have long represented a young woman’s formal presentation into society but for Black communities, these celebrations became something even deeper.

During times of segregation, when traditional High society events excluded African American families, they created their own debutante balls and cotillions. These events were not just about gowns and dances. They were about dignity. Education. Leadership. Confidence. Community.

They became a way to publicly say:
Our daughters are intelligent.
Our daughters are poised.
Our daughters belong.

At The Etiquette Studio, we honor that legacy and we also open the door wide to any race, or ethnicity in our classes and events.

Our upcoming 4-week program is designed to build:
• Self-respect
• Social confidence
• Communication skills
• Leadership presence

& it concludes with our Summer Presentation Ball, a formal celebration of growth, grace, and maturity.
