February is ❀️ Heart Health Month ❀️ β€” and one of the most powerful ways to care for your heart is simple: move your body.
Regular exercise isn’t just about weight loss. It:
β€’ Strengthens your heart muscle
β€’ Lowers blood pressure
β€’ Reduces stress and anxiety
β€’ Improves circulation
β€’ Helps manage cholesterol and blood sugar
β€’ Boosts mood and energy

You don’t have to start with intense workouts. Start where you are:
πŸšΆπŸΎβ€β™€οΈ Take a 20–30 minute walk
πŸ§˜πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ Stretch or do gentle yoga
πŸ’ƒπŸΎ Dance to your favorite song
πŸ‹πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ Try light strength training
πŸš΄πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ Ride a bike or swim

The Jacksonville Section’s Health Committee moved their bodies this week with line dancing at Body Precepts!

❀️ February is Heart Health Month ❀️

Your heart works 24/7 β€” let’s show it some love.

Here are simple ways to protect your heart:

β€’ Move your body at least 30 minutes a day (walk, dance, stretch β€” it all counts)
β€’ Choose foods that love you back (fruits, veggies, whole grains, healthy fats)
β€’ Manage stress β€” your emotions affect your heart more than you think
β€’ Get quality sleep (7–9 hours helps regulate blood pressure & hormones)
β€’ Know your numbers: blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar
β€’ Stay connected β€” healthy relationships improve heart health

🧠 + ❀️ Reminder: Mental stress, burnout, and unprocessed emotions can strain your heart just like poor diet can. Caring for your emotional health is heart health.

Small daily choices β†’ Big lifelong protection.
