🟢🚗 Car Rider Families - Please Read! 🚗🟢

To help us provide a safe, efficient, and organized dismissal, please review our Car Rider (Green Tag) procedures before the first day of school.

✅ Every car rider family will receive one school-issued hanging car tag. Please display it on your rearview mirror and keep it visible until your child is safely in the vehicle.

✅ Car rider dismissal is a single-entry process designed to reduce congestion and keep traffic flowing smoothly.

✅ All vehicles must turn right when exiting the car rider lane.

✅ Students will only be loaded at the designated cones. For safety reasons, please do not stop before or after the loading zone to pick up your child.

✅ Parents must remain in their vehicles and refrain from honking, waving, or calling students to their cars. Our staff will direct students to the correct vehicle at the appropriate time.

✅ The car rider area is a cell phone-free zone.

Think of our car rider line as a conveyor belt: load and go! Quick, safe, and steady movement helps everyone get home faster.

⚠️ If a hanging tag is not displayed, parents will be directed to the front office and required to present identification before a student is released. Student safety is our top priority. Someone will be happy to assist you as soon as dismissal is complete.

⚠️ Car tags are available every morning this from 8:00 am - 8:30 am.

📢 Important Dismissal Reminder for Cedar Hills Families 🦅

As we continue to enhance safety and improve the efficiency of our dismissal process, we want to clarify the difference between our Walker/Bike Rider (Blue Tag) and Park & Pick-Up (Orange Tag) dismissal options.

🔵 Walker/Bike Rider (Blue Tag)

This option is for students who walk or bike home independently. Students are released to the designated walker area and are expected to leave campus promptly. Students with a Blue Tag are not released directly to parents or guardians during dismissal. If you designate your child as a walker but plan to pick them up, please arrange to meet them off campus or change to Park & Pick-up.

🟠 Park & Pick-Up (Orange Tag)

This option is for parents/guardians who wish to pick up their child on campus. Parents must park in the visitor lot and follow the designated Park & Pick-Up procedures. Students will be released only after staff verify the school-issued sign and identification procedures.

🚸 Why is this important? Our goal is to reduce congestion, limit foot traffic around campus, and create a safer and more efficient dismissal process for all students. Parents walking up to the school to meet students creates additional crowding and can impact our ability to safely supervise and release children.

Our Eagle family is soaring to new heights! 🦅💚💛

We are incredibly proud to announce that Cedar Hills Elementary has earned a school grade of B, moving up from a C! This achievement is a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and heart of our entire school community.

To our students, staff, families, and community partners…thank you for making student success the priority every single day. Your hard work, commitment, and belief in what’s possible have made this accomplishment a reality.

This isn’t just a new grade, it’s proof that when we work together, amazing things happen.

We are excited to welcome our Eagle families back for the new school year as we are Taking It To The Next Level!

🎓 Meet your Eagle’s teacher and get ready for an amazing year!

🌞 Morning Session
8:30–9:00 AM – Meet with Administration (Café)
9:00–10:00 AM – Meet the Classroom Teacher
10:00–11:00 AM – Meet the Classroom Teacher

🌇 Afternoon Session
12:30–1:00 PM – Meet with Administration (Café)
1:00–2:00 PM – Meet the Classroom Teacher
2:00–3:00 PM – Meet the Classroom Teacher
