What better way to get in on than to include the scientific experiment? Last week, second grade put on their scientist hats to investigate: Do cookies float or sink in milk? Students practiced the scientific method by making hypotheses, tracking observations, drawing diagrams, and forming conclusions. The best lab result of all? Tasting the cookies and milk when our experiment was complete!

Our Kindergarten students had a special visit from Nurse Laura to learn all about germs and the importance of proper handwashing!

Using a special solution, students were able to see what “germs” looked like on their hands before and after washing. They quickly discovered just how important it is to scrub carefully and not miss those tricky spots!

It was a fun, hands-on way to learn healthy habits and practice proper handwashing techniques.
