Mrs. Sturm was Mystery Reader for PK3 a few weeks ago, and she read a book that she herself authored and illustrated! Not only did the children enjoy a delightful story about kindness and friendship, they also learned about how much hard work, patience, and perseverance goes into writing a book. Thank you so much, Mrs. Sturm for sharing your time and your talents with our students!

For the past 14 weeks, some of our Holy Family teachers have been part of a book study on Never Enough — reflecting on how we can help students know their worth goes far beyond grades, achievements, and accomplishments.
One of the best things about Holy Family is our teachers. They care deeply, work incredibly hard behind the scenes, and are always looking for ways to grow for the sake of their students. We’re so grateful for educators who are committed not only to academic excellence, but to helping every child feel seen, valued, and known.

We had a wonderful surprise this week when former HFCS student Catherine Buckley (BK Class of '26) and her mom stopped by Mrs. Revels' second grade classroom!
Catherine and Mrs. Buckley shared the beautiful story of St. Thérèse and introduced our students to "sacrifice beads" (also known as good deed beads). The kids absolutely loved crafting their very own sets, which they can use to track small acts of kindness and pray a decade of the rosary.
As Catherine graduates from Bishop Kenny High School and prepares to head to Catholic University this fall, please join our Holy Family community in keeping her in your prayers!

Our 1st graders have been busy studying plants, but they ended up learning an even bigger lesson in patience. After planting grass seeds, they provided daily water and plenty of sunlight, but the sprouts took their sweet time to appear!
Through daily care and waiting, our students saw how patience brings beautiful results. Great job, 1st grade!
