Awesome Protection of residents freedom of speech!!

BOOM: Our position is simple: if this city council refused to even allow residents the right to vote on the Ward-only question at the ballot, we refused to allow residents to be silenced on their own property through a patently unconstitutional sign ordinance. Simply unacceptable and a violation of free speech.

On the 250th Anniversary of America, white nationalist mobbed DC to support their president.

Black women once again showed unwavering courage in the face of hate and intimidation. BRAVO!! It was as a reminder of why the NAACP was formed. Same hate, different date.

Today, America turns 250.

And as fireworks light the night sky across the country tonight, it’s a good time to reflect on the true meaning of patriotism.

Real patriotism is not blind loyalty. It's the courage to hold this country to the ideals it was founded on: liberty, justice, and equality for ALL.

This Fourth of July, let's reclaim the word patriotism and all that comes with it.
