For as long as I can remember, I have excelled in math, no matter how well I performed in my other classes. It's the only subject that came to me naturally. Regarding my career goals, when I was asked "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I said I wanted to be a teacher or a lawyer. However, as the years progressed, these aspirations altered. In 10th grade, I decided I wanted to be a math tea

cher. I love math, and I love helping others. Why not combine the two? I started tutoring in 10th grade. Since then, I have continued doing so by becoming an Instructors' Assistant at Florida Gulf Coast University for two College Algebra classes and working as a tutor for the Department of Mathematics. I love what I do! I truly believe that one of my purposes here on earth is to aid others in learning and understanding math. My ultimate goal is to become an 11th and/or 12th grade math teacher and to eventually open my own math learning center, so I can continue helping people achieve their goals when it comes to mathematics.
