Recently, ONU Director of Operations Michael Dargavell and his family visited Rethreaded in Jacksonville, a local nonprofit dedicated to restoring the lives of survivors of human trafficking through employment, career development, and supportive services.

During the visit, they toured Rethreaded's campus, learned more about their life-changing work, and explored opportunities to collaborate on a line of custom items crafted from repurposed military uniforms. 🎖️

The idea is simple but powerful: transform uniforms that carry stories of service into meaningful keepsakes, while supporting an organization that is helping individuals rebuild their lives and futures.

We're inspired by the incredible work Rethreaded is doing in our community and excited about the potential to create products that honor military service, preserve personal legacies, and make a lasting impact.

Our team recently completed a two-day Sandler Sales Training bootcamp led by Pat McManamon and Tim Goering, sharpening the same skills and techniques we teach our students every day. Through hands-on training in key Sandler concepts like the 30-Second Commercial and the Pain Funnel, our staff strengthened their skills and expanded their expertise.

Investing in our own development helps ensure that ONU students receive the most relevant, effective, and up-to-date training possible. When our instructors keep learning, our students benefit. 💙

Yesterday, we officially kicked off Spouse Class 9 of Operation New Uniform’s Military Spouse Career Readiness Program, and we could not be more excited to welcome this incredible group into the ONU family.

Over the next several weeks, these spouses will strengthen their confidence, sharpen professional skills, build meaningful connections, and prepare for careers that move with them wherever military life leads. Through live virtual sessions, coaching, networking, and hands-on career development, they are investing in themselves and their futures. 💙

Yesterday, the ONU team had the privilege of joining the Jacksonville community for their annual Memorial Day ceremony to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

From the moving tributes to the flyover, rifle salute, and live music, every moment served as a reminder of the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy each day.

Honoring veterans and their families is deeply rooted in Operation New Uniform's mission, and we are proud to stand in remembrance of those who served with courage, selflessness, and love for this country. Their legacy will never be forgotten. ❤️
