Jacksonville State University Tuba & Euphonium Studio

Looking for some tuba and euphonium players! Come out and audition. We have scholarships and in some cases we can waiver out of state fees! We are an active studio! We have an Octubafest series every fall and we have performed at many Southeast Regional Conferences, ITEC, and even an Electrobrass conference. Our first Octubafest in awhile! Our Tuba Euphonium Ensemble had a great performance. I had a good time working with this group and I'm proud of them all for their hard work and dedication to rehearsing and all the stuff that goes with that. So, congratulations on a great concert!!

Join us for the JSU Brass Band’s concert at 7:30pm. The concert will be held at the JSU RECITAL HALL in MASON HALL. Admission is free to all!

On behalf of the International Tuba‐Euphonium Association, it is my pleasure to invite your ensemble to appear at the 2024 ITEA Southeast Regional Tuba-Euphonium Conference. SERTEC will take place May 9-12, 2024, on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN.
Information for you regarding your appearance, including a timeline with deadlines for submission of materials is available HERE. There are separate information sheets for performers and clinicians, although much of the information contained in them is the same. You will notice that the first deadline is January 5th, 2024, by which date written acceptance of this invitation and a brief description of your presentation should be sent to me.
Please note that all members of the collegiate ensembles are asked to register for the Conference and that SERTEC and ITEA will not be compensating clinicians or performers for their appearances. I encourage you to pursue other sources of funding to cover your expenses in traveling to Murfreesboro. There will be information on housing options and registration in further emails and on the Conference website at www.SERTEC2024.com.
