One of the most exciting parts of Parkwood Weekday Early Education Center's 50th Anniversary fundraiser event was the chance for students to win special teacher experiences. From the top-selling water balloon fight and sundaes with Mrs. Houston and Mrs. Sizemore to cooking with Mrs. Linda to Art with Pastor Mac of Parkwood Church and many more in between, students had an absolute blast this past week enjoying these unforgettable experiences.

Thank you to our amazing teachers for creating such meaningful moments and to everyone who supported our 50th Anniversary fundraiser. These are the memories we will cherish for years to come!

Say hello to Parkwood Prep's published authors! These Kindergarteners worked diligently from start to finish, creating a simple encyclopedia of all the Animals We Know. In the end, they celebrated with a book-reading party. This one is definitely for the books!

This deserves its own special post. Last Friday, May 8 during our 50th anniversary celebration, we had the honor of recognizing someone who means so much to us - Mrs. Speed and her 30 incredible years at Parkwood Weekday Early Education Center!

For the past three decades, Mrs. Speed has poured her heart into loving, teaching, guiding, and encouraging generations of children and families. Her faith in Jesus Christ along with her leadership, servant-heartedness and nurturing spirit have made a lasting impact here in more ways than words can express.

We are beyond grateful for the countless lives she has touched over the past 30 years. Thank you, Mrs. Speed, for being such an important part of the Parkwood family. Congratulations on this amazing milestone. From all of us, we love you!
