Gulf Red Snapper Announcement
Start making your fishing plans now! Thanks to Governor Ron DeSantis for announcing the 57-day Gulf Red snapper recreational season! The summer season will begin on June 17 and continue through July 31 for anglers fishing from private vessels in Gulf state and federal waters. The 12-day fall season includes Veterans Day weekend and the weekend after Thanksgiving. For more information on the additional fall dates, see the media release below. Thank you so much to everybody who participated in, sponsored, or donated to this wonderful event. This was our 16th and final Captain John Breuggeman Memorial Grouper Tournament. Over the years there have been wonderful times, laughs, and lots of fish caught, weighed, and eaten but all things come to an end at some point.

We've given out scholarships to 98 students amounting to over $56,000. While the tournament is ending, the Breuggeman family will continue to award scholarships in honor of John's memory.

Once again, we'd like to thank each and every person who has volunteered their time, sponsored this event in some way, and every person who has participated over the years.

The Captains' meeting last night was a great time and we hope everyone is out fishing this morning.

As a reminder, weigh in is from 2PM to 4PM at Cape Haze Marina followed by the celebration fish fry/barbecue!
