Recently, our 1st Grade scientists explored chemical reactions in the science lab! Students watched closely as Mrs. Estes added ingredients to their “monster,” bringing it to life as a chemical reaction caused the bag to inflate. 🧪🥼

In just the first month of school, we’ve loved watching our 6th Grade students step into their roles as leaders on campus. From starting our mornings with 6th Grade Patrol to warmly welcoming and encouraging our younger Rams as they begin their day, they’re already showing what it means to lead with kindness, confidence, and care.

Tonight both of our boys teams launched their seasons on their home court! We are looking forward to cheering our Rams on throughout the season.

RPDS 4th graders put solar energy to work today in a hands-on electrical engineering challenge.

☀️ Using solar panels, students built simple circuits to generate electrical power, then tackled a series of precision controls: making their fans spin clockwise, counterclockwise, and at a slow crawl. Outstanding job, 4th grade!

Today in 5th Grade STEAM, students experienced their very own escape room!

How did they escape? By working together! Students collaborated with a partner to tackle a series of challenges designed to foster strong, thorough communication and critical thinking. Each task required them to listen closely, share ideas, problem-solve, and think creatively to make their way to the finish.

These are skills students will continue to build upon as they take on innovative work in the STEAM Lab throughout the school year!
