Absolutely love when companies donate items for the kids to try out. A huge thank you to Benchmark Abrasives for sending us an abrasive combo pack for the kids to try out. Several flap wheels, cut off discs, grinding wheels and hand cleaner! They will definitely put it all to good use.

Yesterday was an awesome day at A.Philip Randolph career academy not only did Mr. Burt win the Taxslayer Teacher of the week but the school was recognized as the Community First Credit Union school of the month. We where informed we won it before they presented us the award so we got the chance to make them a thank you gift! Turned the gift into a fun lesson plan for my welding students. They got to learn about drawing parts in CAD then loading and running a cnc plasma table, metal finishing, breaking then finally coating it. They had fun and the present turn out amazing!
