🏀🐊 A big thank you to Mr. Myer for taking time out of his busy day to work with a group of our third graders during recess! Together, they learned how to share and enjoy the basketball court, four square, and football field while making sure everyone who wanted to had a chance to participate. Students practiced teamwork, sportsmanship, and important game fundamentals, all while having fun and building positive relationships with their peers. Happier recesses, here we come. Great job, Gators! 💚💛

😎 Reminder! There is no school for students on Monday and Tuesday, giving our gators a well-deserved 4-day weekend. The sunshine may be hiding behind the rain clouds this weekend, but there are still plenty of opportunities for family fun and quality time together. Enjoy the break, Gator families! 🐊💚

As Fire Safety Week comes to a close, our Bitz Gators had a special visit from the Camp Lejeune Fire Department and everyone's favorite fire safety mascot, Sparky! 🚒🐾

Students learned important fire safety tips, including battery safety for e-bikes and other devices, and why charging devices on a hard, non-flammable surface is so important. Sparky was a huge hit and brought lots of smiles while helping reinforce these important safety messages.

The firefighters also reminded our Gators that it's not too late to participate in the Fire Safety Poster Contest! If students would like to work on their posters over the weekend, Sparky will return Wednesday morning to collect entries.

Thank you to the Camp Lejeune Fire Department for an engaging and educational visit! 🔥🐊
