This week, we are so excited to recognize Mrs. Doris, a beloved member of the café staff at Southwest Elementary School! 🧡🖤

Mrs. Doris has dedicated an incredible 50 YEARS to Onslow County Schools - five decades of serving students, supporting staff, and making a difference in our school community. What an amazing legacy of service!

She was nominated by Café Manager Courtney Kendrick, who knows firsthand just how special Mrs. Doris is to the Southwest Elementary family.

Parents and families are invited to join us for a learning session focused on what the assessments measure and how results are interpreted. We will talk about how that information can be used to help support student learning and achievement.

Being a Pony Pal is a commitment to supporting a staff member of your choice with a small treat and words of encouragement once a month throughout the school year! My staff pours into their students and their work with heart each and every day! If you're able, please consider being a Pony Pal this year!

Mrs. Doris began year 50 with OCS today! She is a devoted, hard-working employee in the SWE Cafeteria and we are so glad she's agreed to give us another year of service, or maybe a few more years :-) Thank you Mrs. Doris! We love you and appreciate you!
