Freedom Is Ongoing

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that honors freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of opportunity.

Juneteenth is not just about history. It is about what freedom looks like today and who still has access to it. Freedom is the ability to learn, grow, provide for your family, and shape your future.

At the Jacksonville Urban League, we know literacy is a powerful part of that journey. When children have access to books and learning, they build confidence, find their voice, and begin to see what is possible.

We also recognize the reality many families are facing. Rising costs, higher rent, and growing pressure make it harder to move forward.

These challenges are shaped by real decisions, and that means our voices matter.
🍿 Every purchase supports literacy and opportunity

Chief Case has been a true partner in building safer, stronger communities. Through his leadership in Orange Park and his support of youth crime prevention efforts, he showed what it looks like to serve with integrity, commitment, and heart. From helping launch the very first Community-Police Forum in Orange Park to supporting efforts across Jacksonville, his impact will be felt for years to come.

We are grateful for his willingness to show up, engage, and invest in our youth and our neighborhoods.

Congratulations, Chief Case, on 28 years of dedicated service. Wishing you all the best in this next chapter. Thank you for setting the bar high and for leading by example.
