Today students shared projects and research during the Student Symposium of the Institute of Environmental Research & Education (IERE) Environmental.

It was inspiring to experience the culmination of the stellar work of our student, faculty, business partners, donors, and the IERE Community Council. UNF continues to thrive.

This morning’s UNF Board of Trustees meeting was meaningful and productive. BOT Chair Moore and I recognized Trustee and Student Government President Amelia Dyal for her service and leadership.

After the meeting, UNF’s esports team spotlighted the impact of the City of Jacksonville, Florida’s investment on our students, our future, and our City. BOT Vice Chair Patel underscored the importance of the impact of our new, state-of-the-art UNF Flight Deck Esports & Innovation Arena.

We experienced UNF’s Market Days at which the campus community came together to celebrate Ozzie's 47th birthday. An exceptional morning at UNF!

What an incredible morning celebrating the grand opening of the UNF Flight Deck Esports & Innovation Arena. The esports industry is projected to grow to more than $6 billion by 2030, and this space positions our students at the center of innovation, technology, and opportunity.

I’m excited to see the events and learning experiences that will take place here in the coming months and proud to be part of what’s ahead for UNF!

Over the past week, I’ve had the opportunity to reconnect with University of North Florida's beautiful campus and spend time with the students, faculty, and staff who make this place so special.

As a double alumna, being back at UNF is especially meaningful. I’m excited to continue learning, listening, and building on the incredible momentum and accomplishments of this University. SWOOP! 🦅
