Have you ever looked around at the laundry, dishes, toys, work deadlines, family obligations, and endless mental load and thought:
"I'm failing at this."
You're not alone.
As a therapist, I sit with women every week who are carrying more than most people realize. Many are doing their very best while quietly battling guilt, self-doubt, and the feeling that they should somehow be handling it all better.
The truth is that struggling does not mean you're failing.
It means you're human.
In this week's blog, I explore why so many women mistake overwhelm for inadequacy—and why compassion is often more helpful than criticism.

One of the greatest myths about healing is that needing support means you're weak.
The truth is that growth is often personal, but it was never meant to be isolated.
We all need people who encourage us, challenge us, support us, and remind us who we are when life gets hard.
That's one of the reasons community is one of the pillars of Wellness 360.
You don't have to do it alone. 💗
06/04/2026
One of the things I love about our Wellness 360 approach is that it recognizes something most of us already know: Life is connected.
When you're stressed, your body feels it. When you're exhausted, your patience gets shorter. When your relationships are struggling, it affects everything else. And when you feel stuck or disconnected from your purpose, it can be hard to feel fully alive.
That's why at Every Girl Living, we're about more than counseling.
We believe women need support, movement, education, encouragement, and community. Through counseling, coaching, yoga, groups, events, and wellness experiences, we're helping women create lives that feel healthy, meaningful, and connected.
You don't have to figure it all out alone.
You belong here.
Let's live well together.

Why is it so hard to stick to healthy habits?
Most of us already know what we're supposed to do. Eat better. Move more. Get enough sleep. Manage stress.
The challenge isn't knowing.
The challenge is figuring out how to bridge the gap between where we are and where we want to be.
This week's blog explores two common mistakes that keep us stuck and what behavior change research teaches us about creating lasting health changes.
Because sometimes the most important question isn't:
"What's the ideal plan?"
It's:
"What's the next step I can actually sustain?"

For a long time, I’ve carried a vision in my heart.
I wanted to create more than a counseling practice. I wanted to create a space where women could go to feel understood, supported, and reminded they do not have to carry life alone.
Because so many women look “fine” on the outside while quietly carrying stress, burnout, grief, anxiety, loneliness, or the feeling that no one really gets what this season has been like.
That is one reason I created Every Girl Living.
Every Girl Living was created to provide personalized pathways for women to live well through the Roadmap to Living Well and our signature Wellness 360 framework.
My heart has always been to build a place where healing feels possible, growth feels practical, and community feels real.
A place where you can breathe.
A place where you can be honest.
A place where you can be encouraged.
A place where you can take your next step.
If you’ve been craving connection, support, and a healthier way forward, we would love to welcome you. Every Girl Living is not just counseling.
