April was a meaningful and impactful month at Pinedale Elementary as we proudly celebrated Autism Awareness Month! 💙

Throughout the month, our students and staff engaged in activities that promoted understanding, acceptance, and inclusion. From wearing blue to participating in classroom discussions and learning experiences, our Panda family came together to support and uplift individuals with autism.

We are committed to creating a school environment where every student feels seen, valued, and celebrated for who they are. Thank you to our amazing teachers, staff, students, and families for helping make this month so special!

Each day, students can bring a small token to brighten their teacher’s day:

🧁 Monday (5/4): Sweet Treat Day
Bring a small dessert or snack to add a little sweetness!

☕ Tuesday (5/5): Drink Day
Donate a beverage (water, coffee, tea, juice, etc.) to keep them refreshed!

🌸 Wednesday (5/6): Flowers Day
Bring flowers or a small plant to make their day brighter!

✏️ Thursday (5/7): Supplies Day
Donate school supplies (pens, markers, notebooks, etc.) to support their amazing work!

💌 Friday (5/8): Thank You Note Day
Write a kind note or card to show your appreciation!

Our cheerleaders proudly walked and performed in the MLK Parade this past Monday, representing Pinedale with pride, energy, and excellence. We are so proud of our students for honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through positivity, teamwork, and school spirit. Great job, Pandas! 💚💛
