Our 4th grade Brown Bears kicked off their math lesson with a whole-group multiplication fluency warm-up!

Students recited their multiplication facts as a class, building speed, accuracy, and confidence while getting their brains ready for the lesson ahead.

Yesterday, the House of Becoming was filled with big smiles, joyful reunions, new friendships, courageous first steps, and so much LOVE.

From the moment our Brown Bears walked through the doors, our village showed up to make sure every student felt seen, welcomed, valued, and ready to BE GREAT.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible BCA staff, our amazing families, our PTA, and to members of the Divine Nine for showing up, serving, encouraging, and helping us create a first day filled with love and belonging. To our Brown Bear families, thank you for trusting us with what matters most. Your presence, partnership, and commitment reminded us that our Brown Bears are surrounded by a village that believes in them and will continue to pour into them every step of the way.

🌙 Go to bed early so your child is well-rested and ready to learn.
🎒 Get ready the night before by laying out clothes, packing backpacks, and checking important items.
🍎 Start the morning strong with a healthy breakfast and plenty of time to get ready.
⏰ Plan to arrive at BCA by 7:45 AM so your child can begin the school day on time and ready to learn!

BCA Families: First Day Car Rider Information

We’re excited to welcome our Bears back to campus! Please review the BCA Car Rider Route before arrival to help us keep morning arrival safe, organized, and moving smoothly.

Families should enter the car rider line at W. 9th Street and Perry Street, follow the designated route in front of the school, and continue through the alleyway as directed. Please follow all posted signage and the directions of BCA team members throughout arrival.

📸First Day Photo Booths
We know the first day of school is a special moment! Photo opportunities will be available at both the front entrance and side entrance.

If your family would like to park and take first-day photos, please do not stop or park in the car rider line. Instead, use the left lane/grassy area on 8th Street for designated parking**, then safely walk over to the school for pictures.

Quick reminders:

🚗 Enter the car rider route at 9th & Perry Street
➡️ Follow the designated car rider route and BCA staff directions
📸 Photo booths are available at the front and side entrances
🅿️ Families stopping for photos should park along the designated grassy area on 8th Street
🚫 Please do not park or leave your vehicle in the active car rider line
