Cloudy Days - Watching Pelicans Dance

Dear Divas,

We must learn to find the beauty in cloudy days. There is a balance to life and a season for everything. Lately, I feel as if God is trying to get my attention. Our lives can get so busy and tumultuous in the "business" and stress of everyday living that it is easy to get distracted and detoured.

Is God calling out to you to slow down and be still? Today I sat on the balcony as the sun was setting over the ocean and forced myself to just be quiet. It didn't take long until I saw the birds swooping by in graceful flight. As I watched closer I saw them hovering for dinnertime and diving straight down into the water emerging victoriously with a fish in their mouth.

It reminded me that God is in control and ALWAYS provides everything we need. It is a vast universe out across the ocean I gaze at over my laptop as I write. His universe takes my breath away in all things great and small. Yes, cloudy days can be good days. Time to stop and look at the world and our lives and our relationships through fresh eyes - time to appreciate our many blessings and the love that surrounds us. These are the real treasures.

As I was about to get up a line of pelicans danced before me on the terrace just like the picture. I was speechless with delight. I wish each of you speechless moments of delight.
