Today was family reading day at the Jacksonville Public Library, and we invited our VPK students to check out their artwork on display at the ELC VPK Art Showcase!
They were so excited to find their “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly” pieces and show them off to their families. We are so proud of them!

The Annual Family Reading Day 📚is Saturday, April 25, 9 am to 12:30 pm at the Jacksonville Main Library, 303 N. Laura Street. There will be balloon artists, face painters, free books, giveaways, arts & crafts, and so much more!

What a magical St. Patrick’s Day at Little Britches! ☘️✨

We set our leprechaun traps and it looks like one stopped by… because he left behind some sneaky messes and a few fun surprises! The kids were so excited to find Lucky Charms with green milk and rainbow playdough waiting for them 🌈💚

What a special week of celebration! VPK kicked things off with a Lunar New Year dragon parade, and Preschool ended the week with a Mardi Gras float parade, beads and all!🎭🐉 We loved learning about and appreciating cultures from around the world.🌎 💚

Tea cups, Valentine cards, and so much fun! Today was full of sweet reminders of kindness, connection, and being a good friend 💖 Happy Valentines Day from your friends at Little Britches!💌💘

100 days smarter! 🧠🎉 Our VPK class dressed up like we’re 100 years old and enjoyed special activities to celebrate. Preschool joined in too, making it an extra fun day for everyone!

The past couple of weeks were full of cozy winter fun! From our holiday party and book exchange to dress up days, tacky Christmas sweaters, eating yummy treats and making hot chocolate, we’ve loved every festive moment. Comment below if you spot your child enjoying the fun! ❤️

In the book Turkey Trouble, Turkey gets creative to avoid becoming dinner… and this week, so did our VPK & Preschool students! 🦃🎨 They designed the cutest disguises to help keep their turkeys safe before Thanksgiving!

Halloween magic was in full swing today! 👻 Everyone dressed up, and our VPK friends brought the excitement to Brookdale for our annual Trick-or-Treat Parade!

Something magical is growing in our garden! We planted magic pumpkin seeds today, and now we wait to see what appears tomorrow. Halloween must be near, ghosts were spotted on the playground! 👻🎃
