Hi.

It's been about a hundred years since I've actively posted anything on social media, it feels like. I can't promise that will change.

I just wanted to let my three followers know that I'm still alive and kicking, still coaching, and still trying to help as many people as I can be comfortable in their bodies.

If you're wondering who in the world I am, here's a quick breakdown:

I have zero aesthetic and even less social media presence.
I make my best efforts to help people feel comfortable and empowered in the body they were given.
I am constantly running late and very disorganized but I still do my best in life in general.

I tried the whole "post a bunch of stuff on the internet and attract more clients to you" approach and it has generally failed me. I think maybe because I was trying to be someone I am not - and that is a coach who knows half of what is expected of me as a fitness person on the interwebs. So I stopped posting because it was super stressful and really bringing me no return.

Now, I spend most of my time appreciating where I am, what I have, and who is in my life with me. I help whoever I can in whatever way I can and sometimes those people actually take my advice.

I'm pretty much always taking new clients but don't have the mental space to push or pressure anyone to hire me as their coach. Ask me anything and I will try my very best to answer you, even if it's just to say "I'm not really sure, but I'll try to find out." I will try to answer in a timely manner but, to be honest, I forget a lot and you might have to ask me a couple times.

It's just who I am and I can't apologize for it anymore.

If you're looking for a real person who also happens to know a little bit about health and fitness coaching things, I'd love to talk to you about how I can help you.

Thanks for reading.

Fitness goals can and will change. They should ebb and flow with the rhythm of your life.

Sometimes you're training for competition, and other times you're just training to stay live. Right now, I'm in the latter group. Maybe this time next year, I'll be in the former (or maybe not, it isn't that important).

If you're struggling right now with figuring out what's your priority in life, you're not alone. I'm always here to help, and there are plenty of other resources for you.

2021 has been a hard, but necessary, year for me, personally.

I stopped working out at the end of 2020to try to get some personal things straightened out and figure out exactly what I want to do and where i want to go.

This has not been easy for me but it's helped me grow tremendously.

However,it had a HUGE impact on my mental health stability.

Truth be told, I've been in a little bit of denial about myental health status until recently. I was not actively participating in the treatment I so desperately needed (spoiler alert: you can attend therapy and not make progress) and telling myself it wasn't as bad as it was.

So, today, May 10, 2021, is the very first intentional workout I've done all year. I told myself this weekend that i was going to do some kind of workout at least 3 times a week, starting today. I almost chickened out bc we were in the mall and then i told myself I was not allowed to give myself excuses not to do it.

So I did it.

It wasn't how i planned. It wasn't where i planned. It felt WAY harder than i expected. But I did it.

And i am so damn proud of myself for holding myself accountable.

What have you done lately that you're proud of? Let's share and bask in the awesomeness of each other!

Hi.

I'm not dead.

I just am really not good at social media and have been taking some time to focus on myself and figuring out who i actually am.

It's been a much-needed time of self love and healing and discovery and I'm very happy with the path I'm on now.

I still love being a coach to people who need the guidance to feel comfy in their skin.

I just absolutely cannot post daily on social media.

For my mental health. My physical health. And the health of my family.

I'm still here. I'll still try to give you tips and tricks. And I'll try to answer every question you send me. (Please ask me your questions.)

You just might have to be patient with me to get there.

In the meantime, please enjoy this accidental selfie i took while trying to take a picture of my ever-zooming child.

Love you!

Remember that binging on high-sugar and white flour will prolong future cravings. Do not deprive yourself of your favorite foods or you will never be able to stick to your diet plans. The key to weight loss is moderation, not deprivation.

Ensure you are eating nutrient-dense, dark colored vegetables with each meal! Vegetables naturally contain less sugar than fruit and should be eaten regularly.

mineral or supplement to use in daily life, but might not be as super as you think it is. It’s known for its absorption properties and its ability to remove less desired elements from our bodies but it can also deplete your system of the good nutrients that our bodies need and even make some medications less effective. If you’re interested in using activated charcoal, I highly suggest doing your research and/or speaking with your doctor first, especially if you take prescription medications.
