Jacksonville Christian Academy was founded in 1981 as a ministry of First Free Will Baptist Church to partner with parents by educating students minds and equipping their hearts to know, love, and serve Jesus. We hold that Christian education is a mandate from God for the Christian family (Duet.6:6-9.) Recognizing that only a Christian education can provide the knowledge and wisdom necessary to pr

epare an individual for life, we believe that all teaching must harmonize with Truth (God and His Word- Matt.4:4;John 1:1;17:17;Rom. 3:4.) Therefore, the Holy Bible is the core of our curriculum.(The Abeka curriculum)

Jacksonville Christian Academy has an active sports program including Girls‘ and Boys’ (Varsity and Junior Varsity) Basketball, Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer , Cross Country, Varsity Boys’ Volleyball, Girls’ Varsity, Junior Varsity & Middle School Volleyball, and Cheerleading. We are a member of the NC Christian Athletic Conference. Students at JCA go on field trips to various places throughout the school year. Piano lessons are also offered for grades K4-12th. All of our curriculum at JCA is Christian-based. The enrollment at JCA is currently 230 students.

At JCA, we believe our students need to be covered in prayer. Our student-led high school prayer locker is a reminder that God is with our students in every class, challenge, friendship, and decision.
