James Weldon Johnson PTSA

James Weldon Johnson PTSA Every child. One voice. Welcome to the James Weldon Johnson PTSA, a multi-award winning organization with a tradition of excellence and service. Help us grow!

We invite you to join us and become part this legacy. Membership is only $7/ year. PTSA is open to all families, students, faculty, administrators and staff. Our goal is 100% membership. Our PTSA has an annual goal of NO FUNDRAISERS and hasn’t had to do traditional fundraising in years! Instead, we hold a membership drive each fall at the beginning of the school year and invite all parents and teachers to join. In addition to the $7 membership fee, we respectfully ask each member to make an additional donation. If the donations meet our budget NO FUNDRAISING is necessary. Please help us – one idea is to make a donation in the amount your family would expect to spend on fundraising. JWJ PTSA is also looking for corporate donors and sponsors for some of our larger activities. So where do the donations go? The generosity of our PTSA members allows us to sponsor many activities and programs throughout the year. With the money we collect we are able to fund programs like these:

“A Sweet Return”
Care & Compassion
Career Day
Faculty & Staff Appreciation
High School Info. Night
History Fair
Honor Roll Luncheons
Magnet Tours
Readers Beach
Red Ribbon Week
Renaissance Fair
Reflections
Science Fair
Special Projects
Student Directory
Vision Screening
