Last month, our scuba squad got to explore one of the most legendary wrecks in the Florida Keys - the USS Spiegel Grove!
At 510 feet long, this former Navy landing ship is one of the world's largest artificial reefs, providing a home to dozens of Caribbean reef sharks, massive schools of barracuda, goliath groupers, and a variety of reef fish, as well as colorful corals. We had a great time exploring the decks and despite our six dives on the wreck, we left with the feeling that there is still so much to uncover! Big thanks to Daniel,, Michael, and for taking and sharing your awesome photos! ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ Always a great time out with .divers, who worked hard to make sure we had a fun and safe time! ๐
Visit our link in bio for more info on our upcoming trips and events. Next meeting will be Tuesday, August 5 at 6:30 with special speaker Matt Myers from - hope to see you there!

Huge thanks to everyone who came out last night for our monthly scuba squad meet up! It is always so nice catching up with everyone and hearing about your recent dive adventures ๐
We are especially grateful to our speaker, Kevin Brown, from the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol, who is always so full of enthusiasm and great information! So far, nests are looking healthy and on track for the yearโฆ great news for our local turtle populations! Kevin also emphasized the importance of keeping our beaches clean, dark, and especially flat. They are reporting an increase in holes on the beach, so anything you can do to help in this matter is greatly appreciated. For more info on their work, visit them
