Two weeks ago, the Eastern NC Regional Skills Center proudly hosted our Annual Awards Ceremony, recognizing the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our outstanding students.
During the ceremony, we honored students who successfully completed a four-course career pathway, earning both an Honors Cord and a Certificate of Completion. These students have demonstrated commitment, perseverance, and a passion for developing the skills needed for future career success.
We are incredibly proud of each student's achievement and the determination they have shown throughout their journey. Their accomplishments reflect not only their hard work but also the support of their instructors, families, and community partners.
Congratulations to all of them! We look forward to seeing the impact you will make as you continue your education and career pathways.

Kitchen 261 at Burton Park wrapped up their final service of the year with a delicious colonial-inspired lunch menu on Tuesday! 🇺🇸🍽️
In collaboration with the Onslow County Museum, culinary students prepared a historic feast featuring Sally Lunn batter bread, apple butter pork loin with fried okra, sweet potato succotash, and corn cakes. 🍞🍎🌽 Dessert included warm apple fritters and ginger cookies that perfectly completed the meal! 🍪✨
Kitchen and service staff worked seamlessly together, and the menu was enjoyed by all in attendance. 👏
A special thank you to Lisa Whitman-Grice from the Onslow County Museum and ENC Regional Skills Center Chef-Instructor Joey Quispe for this outstanding collaboration. 👩‍🍳🤝 It was a wonderful way to bring history to life during the 250th-year celebration commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. 🇺🇸🎉
