Wow! What an eventful summer! Lessons start again today after 3.5 months off. I truly needed that time to enjoy my wedding and honeymoon, move to north country New York (Fort Drum/Watertown), and set up my new studio.

I was so grateful to see many of my students at my wedding! What sweet memories! It's lovely to see several of them in online lessons this week, too.

Caleb and I had a L.O.N.G. drive up to NY with the cats but are enjoying lovely Autumn weather today!

The studio set-up is in our living room and is a miniature version of the former studio set-up in Florida. I think I'll miss having extra space, but it's working well so far!

I'm still working on some business aspects of running the studio in NY, so I'm only teaching current online students for right now, but I'll hopefully have a couple of spots for new students soon!

I've been terribly remiss in posting photos of recent studio happenings. Before Christmas, we had a lovely and fun recital at that included piano and flute solos, ensembles, rhythm cups, and body percussion. The students did so well!! 🎄💜🎶

Christmas time is an especially wonderful time to do this. Sing carols while your child plays… this is the definition of family togetherness!”
