Our DLC kiddos joined in the fun by dressing up as their favorite first responders — firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and more! 👮♀️👨🚒💛

🎨🐻 Fine Motor Fun at DLC! 🐻💧
Our little learners are hard at work (and play!) during this colorful fine motor and sensory activity! Using spoons to scoop the bright teddy bears from the water, they’re practicing coordination, color recognition, sorting, and concentration — all while having a blast. 🌈✨
DLC Nurse & Learn (DLC) is a quality, child care facility for children with severe disabilities and medically complex conditions. Children attending DLC have a wide range of disabilities, including Down Syndrome, Arthrogryposis, Tuberous Sclerosis, Tay-Sachs Disease, Cerebral Palsy and seizure disorders. Due to the special needs of the children served, DLC maintains a professional staff including a Registered Nurse, Nursing Assistants, Special Education Teachers, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists.
DLC currently offers full and part-time special education preschool, extended day for children (birth to 3 years) and for older students attending public school (3-22 years of age). DLC also provides full-time nursing care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, therapeutic summer camp and M.O.V.E. mobility training. All of these services allow parents to continue their education and/or work.
