The United States defeated the Netherlands 2-0 to win the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. It is the second World Cup victory for Heath and Harris, and the first for Dunn, Long and McDonald.

At the 2018 New Student Send Off, July 31, 2018, new Entering Students were instructed the way to sing, sway, stomp and shout "Hark the Sound." Melissa and Brent Anderson gave the primary instruction, with Steven and Beverly Goodson providing encouragement.
