FREE SPEECH SCREENINGS! MCV families...don't forget to complete the consent form for your kiddo (age 2 and up) to have a free speech screening next week. If there are any concerns, a full evaluation will be suggested (we're hoping this can be done here at MCV as well, but stay tuned :-)

We're aware that the QR code on the original flyer wasn't working, so hard copy registration forms are required instead. You can find them on the office/kitchen counter. Just fill one out and either leave it in the office window or give it to your child's teacher. Screenings will take place next Wednesday and/or Thursday morning (please let us know if your kiddo ends up out sick that day).

We are getting ready to wind down a great summer in the Village. Water play has ended for the season (it just got too toasty outside for our little friends!). Please also take note of the following dates:

Wednesday, August 5th - One last visit from the ice cream truck, bring your $2.

Thursday, August 6th - Last day for rising kindergarteners and any children transferring centers/schools. Also, VPK orientation at 6:00pm.

Friday, August 7th - Center is CLOSED for staff training day.

Monday, August 10th - First day of VPK! We still have openings in this program for the 2026-27 school year, so spread the word.

Currently enrolling 4-year-olds for VPK for the 2026-27 school year! Our morning VPK program is M-Th from 8:30am-12:15pm and includes a morning snack and lunch. Full-day wraparound care is also available and we accept School Readiness vouchers. We are a play-based early learning center with a strong focus on social/emotional learning and character development through a faith-filled lens. We have an experienced staff with low turnover and are a tight-knit small family-oriented learning community. We are proud to be a NAEYC accredited center and work hard to maintain our 5-star rating through the Guiding Stars of Duval program. Want to learn more about preschool life in the Village? Only $1 bills for the ice cream truck each Wednesday, please. We recognize that takes a little extra effort on parents' part but, if everyone brings in $10 and $20 bills, the ice cream man can't change them all. Thank you for helping us with this!
