One thing that has been breaking me in the Clancy trial is how she spoke of her son Dawson.

“The most difficult human she ever met.”

Mainly because I also have a second born son that has been quite challenging compared to the first born daughter.

And every day I worry “was I too hard on him?”
“Will he think I love him less?”
“How can I turn his energy into something constructive.”
“Maybe tomorrow will be better.”

It’s horrific she killed them.

It’s almost more painful to think this little boy died not knowing if his mom loved him

Postpartum depression is real and being a mom is hard but I just can’t get behind extrapolating the experience to feeling like I relate to Lindsay Clancy.
