’Twas the Night Before School — Mustang Style 🐴🧡🖤
’Twas the night before school, and all through the town,
Our little Mustangs were settling down.
The backpacks were packed and the new shoes were near,
Because the first day of school was finally here!
Kindergarten Mustangs, so brand-new and small,
Are ready to learn as they walk down the hall.
There may be some nerves and a tear… maybe two,
But soon they’ll discover how much they can do!
First Grade Mustangs know just where to go,
They’re ready to read, write, explore, and grow!
With pencils all sharpened and smiles shining bright,
They’ll learn something new from morning ’til night.
Second Grade Mustangs are ready for more,
With bigger adventures and learning in store.
They’ll ask lots of questions, discover, and try,
And reach for their goals as they aim nice and high!
Third Grade Mustangs are picking up speed,
Growing as thinkers, in math and in reading.
They’re finding their voices and learning each day,
And showing their Mustang pride all the way!
Fourth Grade Mustangs are ready to shine,
With challenges waiting and good times in line.
They’ll work hard together, be brave, and be kind,
And show us the wonderful things in their minds!
And our Fifth Grade Mustangs, the leaders this year,
Have one final elementary adventure so near.
They’ll make special memories, lead with Mustang pride,
With their teachers and friends standing right by their side.
From kindergarten through fifth, there’s excitement in store,
New friendships, new lessons, and so much more.
Our teachers are ready, our classrooms are too,
And Meadow View can’t wait to welcome YOU!
So get a good sleep and prepare for the day,
Because our Mustangs are coming — HIP, HIP, HOORAY! 🐴
And whatever this school year may bring our way,
Mrs. Twigger and Dr. Martin are here every day.
To cheer you on, help you, and see you all through—
