— WEEK 3!

Radiology week was a success! Our students took and passed their radiology exam, practiced taking X-rays on each other, and learned how to use the Pano/CBCT machine!

Another week of hands-on learning and building confidence! 💙

WEEK 8 COMPLETE!

THE COUNTDOWN IS ON… ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT!

Our students had another BIG week at BDAS! This week was all about Endodontics & Orthodontics, expanding their knowledge and preparing them for the many different areas of dentistry they’ll experience in their careers.

In clinic, they were busy perfecting their clinical and practical competencies, gaining confidence and becoming more comfortable with the hands-on skills they’ve been working so hard to master!

Watching their growth over these past 8 weeks has been incredible! From learning the basics to now confidently putting those skills into practice—it’s amazing to see how far they’ve come!

- Week 7: Dr. Day!

Today was Dr. Day at BDAS! Our students had the opportunity to sit chairside with Dr. Lewis and Dr. Barlow, gaining valuable experience and seeing what it’s really like to work alongside the doctor!

Students also learned coronal polishing and spent time in the classroom perfecting individual clinical skills where they needed a little extra training and practice.

Every week, our students are building confidence, strengthening their skills, and preparing for successful careers in the dental field!

Saturday we were happy to welcome students for our session!

Week 6 at 🦷

Another great week of learning and hands-on training! Our students explored crowns and bridges, then got hands-on with the iTero digital scanner and learned how digital scanning is used in the dental office.

They also took their mock exams to the next level—practicing patient communication, X-rays, intraoral photos, anesthetic setup, and assembling matrix bands.

So much progress, confidence, and skill-building happening in Week 6!

Week 5!

Our BDAS students are halfway through the program and continuing to build the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the dental field! 🦷

This week, students:
✅ Took and passed their midterm exam!
💼 Learned how to professionally present themselves and feel confident during job interviews
💻 Learned how to chart accurately using Eaglesoft software

Week 4 was full of hands-on learning! 🦷 Our students practiced mock exams to build confidence and prepare for real-world clinical situations. They also learned the fundamentals of composite fillings and mastered assembling and placing Tofflemire matrix bands. Another great week of developing the skills needed for a successful career in dental assisting!
