Just a reminder that Friday, September 4th is a HALF-DAY at LWCS! 🎉

Please make note of our adjusted dismissal and office pickup times:

🚗 MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL
• In-office pickup ends at 11:35 AM
• Carline pickup: 11:45 AM–12:05 PM

🚗 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
• In-office pickup ends at 11:50 AM
• Carline pickup: 12:05–12:30 PM

🏫 The LWCS office will close at 12:30 PM.

Please plan accordingly and be sure your student is picked up during their designated dismissal window, as Aftercare is not provided on half-days.

We appreciate your help in keeping our half-day dismissal running smoothly!

⛈️ AFTERNOON PICK-UP NOTICE

Warrior Families, we are expecting rain and thunderstorms during afternoon pick-up today, which will likely slow down our normal pick-up procedures.

Please allow additional time and be patient as our staff works to safely dismiss students and keep traffic moving.

Weather may require us to adjust how quickly students can be brought outside, so the process may take longer than usual. Student safety will always take priority over speed.

What a difference a small adjustment can make!

Morning drop-off went so much smoother today, and we want to say a huge THANK YOU to our Warrior families!

We appreciate your support and cooperation as we continue making small adjustments to improve our morning routine. Your willingness to adapt quickly, follow the updated procedures, and work together with our staff is greatly appreciated.

We will also continue to evaluate our afternoon pick-up process and communicate any updates that can help improve the flow.

These small changes have three important goals: keeping our students safe, creating greater efficiency, and respecting the time of our drivers and families.

Each day we’re learning, adjusting, and getting a little better…and today was a big step in the right direction!

Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and partnership as we continue working together to make drop-off and pick-up as smooth and safe as possible.

Greetings, Warrior Families!

Thank you for your patience as we continue settling into our morning routines. To help reduce traffic congestion, we are making a small adjustment to morning drop-off beginning tomorrow.

This change is ONLY for students in grades 5–12. Drop-off procedures for EE–4th grade remain unchanged.

Beginning tomorrow, Building 400 will open at 7:20 AM for students in grades 5–12.

From 7:20–7:30 AM, families of 5th–12th grade students entering the drop-off line will be directed to drop off their students. Students will enter Building 400, where staff will receive them until the 7:30 bell.

If you prefer for your 5th–12th grade student not to enter the building before 7:30 AM, please park and wait until 7:30 before entering the drop-off line.

Our regular 7:30–7:50 AM drop-off window remains unchanged, and again, there are no changes to EE–4th grade drop-off.

Thank you for your flexibility and cooperation as we continue improving our morning traffic flow and keeping our students safe.

🎉 WELCOME BACK, WARRIORS! 🎉

The first morning is officially in the books! And, as expected, it came with a little first-day drop-off chaos. 😄

New families are learning the traffic pattern, returning families are getting back into the routine, students are figuring out where to go, and our staff is learning the timing of it all together.

The good news? It gets smoother every day.

As everyone becomes familiar with the pattern and timing, what felt a little chaotic this morning will quickly become a steady flow.

🚗 A couple of quick traffic reminders:

Use those blinkers! If you are turning left after Elementary drop-off, using your turn signal helps our traffic team tremendously. It lets us know where you’re headed and helps keep everyone moving efficiently.

Please slow down! Our campus-wide parking lot speed limit is 5 MPH. With students, families, and staff moving throughout the parking lot, we need everyone to take it slow. The safety of our students is always a top priority.

This afternoon’s pick-up will be a learning process too, so please bring a little extra patience and allow some additional time. Our students, families, and staff are all getting back into the rhythm together.

Most importantly: our Warriors are back on campus, and we couldn’t be more excited! ❤️

Tomorrow is the day, Warriors!

A new school year begins, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our students back to Living Water!

Tomorrow is about more than new classrooms, new schedules, and new opportunities to learn. It’s the beginning of another year of helping our students grow in knowledge, strengthen their faith, discover their God-given gifts, and become who He has called them to be.

We’re praying over every student who walks through our doors, every teacher who leads a classroom, and every family who has entrusted their children to Living Water. May this be a year filled with growth, friendships, unforgettable moments, and, above all, a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Set those alarms, get some rest, pack those backpacks, and get ready…

The 2026–2027 school year starts TOMORROW!

Come meet your child’s teachers, visit classrooms, drop off supplies, and prepare for a great first day of school.

Building 400 will be available for:

• Carline tags and pickup cards
• LWCS T-shirts and hoodies
• Medical forms
• Extended Care contracts

We can’t wait to welcome back our returning Warriors and meet our newest families. See you tonight!

Warrior Families: Open House for grades 5–12 is TONIGHT from 6:00–7:30 PM!

Begin in Building 400 to:

• Pick up student schedules
• Receive carline tags and pick-up cards
• Submit medical forms and Extended Care contracts
• Purchase LWCS T-shirts and hoodies

Afterward, visit classrooms, meet teachers, and practice lockers for students in grades 5–8. Families may leave tissues, disinfecting wipes, and hand sanitizer with their student’s first-period teacher. Please bring all other supplies on the first day of school.
