🌈 **Science in Action!** 🧪

Our 1st & 2nd graders had so much fun experimenting with color during the **Walking Rainbow Experiment!** 🌈

Students watched in amazement as colored water “walked” from one cup to another through paper towels, mixing along the way to create new colors. This hands-on experiment was a fun way to explore **capillary action, color mixing, and scientific observation**.

We love seeing our students learn through curiosity, discovery, and a little bit of colorful fun! 💙💛

🙏💙 We are so thankful for the wonderful people in our community who take the time to pour into our students!

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Stephen Yates from Second Baptist Church to KCS to help lead our Chapel time. Our students truly enjoyed the lesson he shared and the time he spent with them!

Thank you, Stephen, for taking time out of your day to invest in our students and help point their hearts toward Christ. We are so grateful for your willingness to serve and for the blessing you were to our KCS family! ❤️

🎉🐾 Happy 4th Birthday, Max! 🐾🎂

Mrs. Kelly’s PreK-4 class had a very special birthday to celebrate—their class mascot, Max, turned FOUR! 🥳 Max may be a stuffed pup, but he’s a very loved member of their classroom family! 🐶❤️

Of course, the celebration included some learning, too! Our PreK friends practiced their color recognition and sorting skills by sorting birthday candles by color 🌈🕯️ and worked on pencil control and fine motor skills by tracing the strings on balloons. 🎈✏️

Learning is always a little more fun when there’s a birthday to celebrate! 🎂🎉

What a great way to start the morning—coming together, getting focused, and remembering that **each new day is a gift and a blessing from God.** 🙏
