Our next staff member is Madison Hiteshew. She is new to KCS and will be teaching 2nd grade. Please help us give her a warm welcome! You can learn more about Madison below:

My name is Madison Hiteshew, and I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade at Kingdom Christian School this fall! I am looking forward to helping my students grow in their love for learning while also pointing them to Jesus each day.

I was born and raised in Mount Dora, Florida, and came to Arkansas for college. I graduated from Harding University in 2024 and have called Searcy home since then. I am the youngest of three siblings and have always valued the close bond I share with my family.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy all things sports, hiking, kayaking, and spending time outdoors. I love exploring God’s creation and making memories with family and friends whenever I can.

This will be my first year at Kingdom Christian School, and I am so grateful to be joining this wonderful community. It is a blessing to pour into the lives of the children God places in my classroom, and I am excited to see all that God has planned for this school year!

Our next teacher isn't new to KCS, but this is a new position for her! Mrs. Bettger was our after school teacher last year, as well as a longterm substitute teacher. Our students already love and adore her, and we are excited to have her in 1st grade this year!

Hello! My name is Devan Bettger, and I am a passionate educator committed to inspiring young minds. At 24 years old, I balance my roles as a mom and a wife while pursuing my love for teaching. As I often say, “Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning.”

I originally worked in a Pre-K classroom, where I discovered my love for education and the impact it can have on children’s lives. I graduated from Arkansas State University with a bachelor’s in Elementary education, and I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have lived in Arkansas all my life, which has deepened my appreciation for our community and culture.

My love for Christ guides my teaching philosophy, as I strive to create a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity and a love for learning. As it is said best, “In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teachings show integrity, seriousness” -Titus 2:7. I am so excited for this new year and to guide my students on their educational journeys!

Next up is our first new face; meet Stacey Bailey! She will be teaching kindergarten this year at KCS and will be part of our Pre-K/Kindergarten team. While she's new to KCS, she's not new to the classroom and we are excited to have her on board! You can learn more about Mrs. Bailey below:

Hi, my name is Stacey Bailey. I’ve been working in education for over 25 years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Child Development from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Services from Arkansas State University.

We attend New Life Church in Beebe, where my husband, 10 year old daughter, and I live. Our other 4 children are grown and live on their own. I’m also a Gigi to our precious granddaughter.

My husband and I serve in the middle school youth group at NLC. I love teaching children about how much Jesus loves them. I’m honored to be able to join the Kingdom Christian School family for the 2026-2027 year!

Our next teacher to be featured is Kelly Carroll. Kelly is not only our Pre-K4 teacher, but our Preschool Director as well. You can learn more about her below:

My name is Kelly Carroll and I am the Pre-K4 teacher and Preschool Director at Kingdom Christian School. This is my third year teaching at KCS and I am excited to see what this next year will bring.

I have taught preschool for many years starting when my two boys were in middle and high school. I was privileged to have the opportunity to be a stay at home mom when they were young and spent many hours volunteering at their schools. I have always enjoyed working with the little ones because they have such an eagerness to learn.

My family and I attend church at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, AR. One of the things I love most about teaching at KCS is getting to share my love for Jesus Christ with the children everyday. There aren’t a lot of jobs where you get the opportunity to do that.

I have been married to my husband for 29 years. Thomas and I have two amazing sons and are the guardians to our 16 year old nephew. Our lives are pretty busy, but we wouldn’t change a thing.

I am looking forward to another awesome year at Kingdom Christian School!

Today we is the beginning of highlighting the heart of our school -- our teachers, starting with our Pre-K3 teacher, Victoria Hogan.

Victoria Hogan is a native to Arkansas and was raised in North Little Rock. She attended private Christians schools from preschool through graduating from Central Arkansas Christian in 2008. Victoria and her family were always involved and volunteered at various churches. Victoria was heavily involved in the arts growing up- band, choir and among her favorite was dance. Upon completing high school, Victoria attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and obtained her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in 2011. Victoria first fell in love with teaching when she started assistant teaching at her local studio at the age of 10. By the time she was 16, she was teaching on her own, which lead her to open her own Christian dance studio from 2016 to 2021.

This is Victoria's third year teaching Pre-K3 at Kingdom Christian School. Victoria was also the preschool Sunday school teacher at her church, Lakewood United Methodist for three years. She has worked as a substitute teacher for Lisa Academy, Cabot Schools, Bryant Schools, England Schools and Estem Charter schools this past year. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and three daughters from dance to family adventures. Victoria is expecting her fourth blessing to arrive shortly before the school year begins.

Our last board member is Savannah Hutchins, who serves as the Secretary of the Board at Kingdom Christian School. After teaching 1st and 2nd grade during the 2024-25 school year, she stepped into board membership during her extended maternity leave, allowing her to continue supporting the school’s mission in a meaningful way. Her classroom experience gives her a unique ability to represent both students and teachers, ensuring that decisions are grounded in compassion, practicality, and firsthand understanding. She has volunteered to tutor children in the upcoming school year, and is a natural fit for board leadership at our school.

Savannah moved to Cabot in 1999 and later married her husband, Matthew, whose Coast Guard career has taken their family across the country. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration, an Associate Degree in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education from Liberty University. Her professional background includes retail management, 911 dispatching, and pediatric ophthalmology assistance, all of which strengthened her commitment to serving families and children.

Savannah has a deep love for students, a strong appreciation for teachers, and a heart for unity as KCS transitions into a new community. She looks forward to supporting the school’s growth and helping cultivate a Christ‑centered environment where students and staff can thrive.
