Good Morning! If you ordered Spring Dance pictures from "I Am Jax Photo", please check your email for important information about your order from the photographer. He will be at LaVilla this Saturday, June 18th from 12:00-3:00 p.m. so you can pickup any prints purchased. If you are unable to pickup your pictures tomorrow, please reach out directly to the photographer at [email protected] to make other arrangements. If you did not receive an email from him and you did purchase prints, you may email him directly as well. Thank you!

Also, don't forget to join the LaVilla Dance Department Facebook Group if you have not already. We will be sharing all important updates there and will be phasing out sharing information on this page.

8th grade Parents: If you were contacted about a credit on your dancer’s account and requested a refund, refund checks went home with students the last week of school. Check those backpacks!

Attention New Lavilla Families….

Please be on the lookout for an email today with information about our upcoming placement screenings and parent orientation meeting this Friday, June 3rd for all new Lavilla dancers. You will be scheduled from 10:00-11:15 (last name A-L) or 11:30-12:45 (last name M-Z). Danzar will also be on site so you can purchase your dance performance attire for the year.

CONGRATULATIONS to your dancer and welcome to Lavilla! We are so excited for a great year!

Quick correction regarding Makeup Auditions for Dance Repertoire and Modern Dance Ensemble. The day is actually Friday June 3 at 11:30 not Wednesday. We apologize for any confusion. 😌

Important message from Ms. Ottley:

Dear parents and dancers,
In light of the message sent out by the superintendent in response to the tragedy in Texas, we will not be bringing in backpacks or dance bags over the next two days. Instead, please dress in attire that you can move and sweat in. Let's end the year safely!

What an incredible 8th grade banquet we had tonight at Havana Jax Cuba Libre! Thank you to our event coordinators Angela Covington and Helga Langthon for all of your hard work in making this happen! Thank you Ivy Kimbro and Kim Bergfeld for all of the behind the scenes logistics help (and anyone else I am leaving off 😉). Thank you to our awesome teachers for all of your support and the beautiful awards you created for our dancers. So special. We also want to give a big shout-out to Mr. Michael Bondanza for generously donating the beautiful grad cap toss prints from the recent photo shoot he did of our students, for us to use tonight for our photo album keepsakes. That was so incredibly kind! Mr. Bondanza is a fabulous photographer who has photographed our students numerous times and does beautiful work! 8th Grade Parents: We are still accepting pics for the slideshow and have some students we haven’t received any pics from. We don’t want anyone to feel left out so please get those pics in ASAP! 😊

Modern Ensemble Parents: Modern Ensemble is officially finished so no more after school practice. A big thank you to Ms. Fisher and Ms. Logan for working with our Modern Ensemble students this year!
