Today we honor the 5 year passing of the Art League's founder Craig Erskine. Craig's passion for art and desire to bring affordable instruction to everyone in the community continues to carry on today and in the many years to come. His legacy of love, kindness and encouragement will be forever felt in those who were fortunate enough to know him, and his Art League dream will be experienced in the generations of artists to follow. We will miss you always.

May 16th of 2009 was a momentous day.
It marks the day Craig Erskine first founded the Art League of Jacksonville as a non profit for his family and for the future of our Jacksonville community.
He saw something lacking here in artistic resources for the fantastic and creative artistic community in Jacksonville, and took initiative to open the doors to a more affordable creative education for people of all ages and creeds.
Today we proudly stand by his mission beginning 7 years ago to nurture creativity in Jacksonville and continue to grow along with Jacksonville's beautiful artistic community.
