It was great seeing all of our smiling Gators today at both of our orientation times. Just a reminder, the first day school is Monday August 24th. Kindergartners do have a staggered start and should contact their teacher to find out which day if they did not receive a postcard or orientation. Have a wonderful weekend and a restful want and we will see our Gators on Monday August 24th.

Yesterday was a great way to kick off the new school year at Hunters Creek Elementary!

Our staff spent the day reconnecting, learning, laughing, and getting ready for the year ahead. We met together as a whole staff and then moved into breakout sessions focused on AVID, Energy Bus, counseling, health and safety, policies, procedures, and the day-to-day work that keeps our school moving.

This year, we are continuing to build a school where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn. You will see a strong focus on positive relationships, student ownership, academic conversations, STEM learning, teamwork, and the Energy Bus message throughout our school.

We have a lot planned for 2026-2027, and we are excited about what is ahead for our students, staff, and families.

The bus is ready to roll, and we are looking forward to a great year at Hunters Creek Elementary!
