Chag Purim Sameach!

We are pleased to welcome Rabbi Kaylie Romano to the Center! Instead of having a regular Religious School day yesterday, families are strongly encouraged to join us for Purim TONIGHT for Megillah Reading at 6:45 PM, followed by a “Wicked” Purim Shpiel & Costume Contest. All Religious School students who attend tonight will receive BONUS attendance credit. Rabbi Romano will be there to meet and interact with families during the festivities. On Shabbat morning, March 15, she will also spend time in Mighty Mini Minyan (grades K-5) and deliver the sermon.

Since we are on Spring Break this Sunday, March 16, we hope to have as many families join us on Purim and Shabbat to help welcome Rabbi Romano to our community! See below for a full schedule of opportunities to welcome and engage with Rabbi Romano.

All donations received on Giving Tuesday will be matched by a generous donor. Classes with 100% participation in Giving Tuesday donations will win a fun ice cream party!

Sukkot is almost here! Join us at the Jacksonville Jewish Center throughout the holiday for fun youth & family programs. We will pray, play games, and shake the lulav! Kiddush lunch will follow services each day and we hope to see you there.

Hi Bernard and Alice Selevan Religious School Families!

Chalutzim kids (and current 2nd graders) are invited to a day of race car making fun this Sunday, March 31st after Religious School! Stay after we wrap up to watch and cheer on the Scouts! Students who are attending Religious School that day may come with Jacob Ruby to the youth lounge for lunch. Please provide a dairy or parve lunch for your child.
