Sallye B. Mathis, students, staff, and faculty, wore their pink this past Friday!
Wear Pink Day is a reminder that we all play a role in this fight. By wearing pink, we show solidarity with those affected by breast cancer and contribute to raising awareness for continued research and improved patient care.
We wrote names of names and hung them, up of those we love, celebrate, and remember.

Cardinal Families,
Duval County Public Schools will be closed from Wednesday, Oct. 9, through Friday, Oct. 11.
All school activities, including athletics and after school programs, are canceled for those days.
After the storm passes and personnel begin recovery efforts, the district will make an announcement regarding operations for the following week.
Make-Up Days
Students and families should plan to make up two of the missed days on Feb. 14 and May 30. Those days are currently listed as weather days on the school calendar. The school calendar has additional time built-in to absorb the third day of closure.

Cardinal Family,
The district is currently monitoring the path of Hurricane Milton.
At this time, no decision has been made regarding changes to district operations, but we are in contact with the City of Jacksonville’s Emergency Operations Center.
As we get more information from emergency management leaders on the timing and path of the storm, we will be better able to inform our community about decisions regarding district/school operations.
Please stand by for further announcements.
