We have an upcoming book fair that will be held on May 19th. This is a Scholastic Book Fair sponsored by READ USA!

Each student will be able to pick out 3 free books! 📚

The fair will only be on May 19th. We need your help. If anyone can volunteer that day to help us out please click on sign up genius link. Look for May 19th and then sign up under Enterprise. READ USA is hosting these book fairs all over Duval County. If you are able to help at any of the other schools on the list, I know it would be appreciated.

ELA Families,

We are excited to report Tuesday April 5th and Wednesday April 6th our 3rd graders will take Reading FSA. Testing starts promptly at 9:15 a.m. If your child is not in their seat at that time, unfortunately, they will have to participate in a make-up session. Students usually perform better in a familiar environment with their teacher and peers hence our plea for them to arrive on time. Please ensure your child receives a good night's sleep and come prepared to show what they have learned this year. Also, our 4th and 5th graders will be administered FSA Writing Thursday April 7th at 9:15 a.m.
We are extremely excited for all students and encourage you to review the attached testing policies with your students.

Free food distribution schedule for the rest of this week:

🍅 Lutheran Social Services: Friday, 3/25 at 4615 Philips Hwy starting at 10am. Citizens can access this free pantry 2x a month.
🌽 Catholic Charities Jacksonville: Friday, 3/25 at 1470 W. 13th St. starting at 8:30am. Catholic Charities also offers a free food distribution on Wednesday’s as well.
🍒 Feeding Northeast Florida: Saturday 3/26 with the Jim Dotson Foundation at 3754 University Club Blvd. starting at 7:30am
🥕 Feeding Northeast Florida: Saturday, 3/26 with the River City Community Church at 6561 Firestone Rd starting at 9am
🍊 Feeding Northeast Florida: Saturday 3/26 with the New Town Success Zone-Jacksonville at 1401 Grunthal St. starting at 11am
