Phillip Randolph was a trailblazing leader, activist, and part of the Jacksonville community - organized the March on Washington where he shared the podium with Martin Luther King, Jr. ✊Randolph is a vital and important part of Black History and that is why the JCC is giving him honor this month at our 12th "Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing" virtual performance on February 27th. The music teacher will lead classes in preschool - elementary aged students. Classes incorporate music fundamentals including singing, dancing, movement, and basic music theory. All classes are taught at the schools (various locations).

Guidelines and suggestions will be available, but the music teacher will create lessons based on the needs of each group that encompass the ideals of A Finer Art.
