Held annually on the 4th Saturday in October at JSU's Stephenson Hall. Presented by JSU's Kinesiolo Over 2000 runners and walkers from Calhoun, Etowah, St.
Jacksonville State University's Gamecock Gallop 5K began in 2001. Clair, Talladega, Cherokee, Birmingham, and many other Alabama counties have participated! We are proudly a part of the Anniston Runner's Club Grand Prix Race Series. Proceeds from the Gamecock Gallop provide Health, Physical Education, Exercise Science, Sport Management, and Recreation students at JSU an opportunity to attend Profe

Gamecock Gallop Virtual Time Submission 2021 Thank for participating in the virtual Gamecock Gallop. Please submit your run time on this form.
We will be offering race packet pick up for our on Campus Racers Friday, 10/22, from 10am to 6pm in Kennamer Hall. If you can't make it Friday you can still pick your packet up Saturday morning from 6:45am-7:45am.
**Virtual runners do not have a packet pick up. We will distribute Virtual runner shirts at a later date.

Due to changes in DOT regulations we will not be able to safely run the certified Gamecock Gallop course, BUT… we have good news!! We have created a new Gamecock Gallop 5k route that will be much safer for our runners! We hope you will enjoy the new route with more campus scenery. See you next Saturday!!!!

Overall award winners will not be eligible for age group awards.
